Alternate Climber Information
Will I get to climb?
Possibly. Every year we have many cancellations you will be placed on the alternate list at the time your order was placed. You will be notified by 8am if you are climbing or not.
When do I need to show up?
You will need to show up between 6:30-800 am the day of the climb. You will check in just as the other participants.
Will I get a spot in next year’s climb?
Yes, If you check in you will receive an invitation to register early in the next years climb either way.
Will I find out if I am climbing?
You may be informed by email that your spot has been moved to the 343 climber list before the climb. If you don't hear anything you still need to show up ready to climb.
Will I get a refund if I don't climb?
Yes, but only if you show up and check in the day of. It is very important to us to have exactly 343 climbers the day of. If you do not show we have a no refund policy. By 8 am you shall know if you’re climbing or not.
